Booking and cancellation policy

Before you confirm

Send me a message with the treatment you’re interested in and when you’d like to visit. I’ll confirm the service, appointment time, total price, any deposit and these terms with you. Your appointment is booked once we have agreed the details and I have confirmed it in our conversation.

Keep the booking confirmation and terms. A consultation is not a promise of a particular treatment or result. Any treatment is subject to suitability assessment and informed consent.

Changing or cancelling

If you give at least 24 hours’ notice, there is no cancellation charge under this policy. Any deposit for the cancelled appointment is refundable, or can be transferred to a rearranged appointment if you agree.

For less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation charge may be due, capped at 50% of the agreed service price. If you do not attend without cancelling, the cap is 100% of the agreed service price.

These are maximum amounts, not automatic penalties. Any charge must be reasonable and limited to the actual net loss caused by the cancellation or non-attendance, after taking account of costs saved and any replacement booking. Reasonable steps must be taken to reduce the loss. You can ask for an explanation of the calculation.

Any charge and its basis will be explained before it is added to the amount due at a later visit. This website does not take payments or authorise an automatic charge to a stored payment method.

Deposits

Some appointments may require a deposit. The amount and terms must be explained before you confirm. A deposit counts towards the final service price.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, a deposit may be retained only towards a fair cancellation charge calculated as above. It is credited against that charge, not added on top. Any excess must be refunded. Your statutory cancellation rights below take priority.

Late arrival and future appointments

Arriving more than 20 minutes late may affect the time available for your appointment. Please contact me as soon as you know you may be late so we can discuss what is possible.

After two or more late cancellations or no-shows, you may be asked to prepay for future services. Any required prepayment must be explained before you agree to the next booking and remains subject to the same fair cancellation and refund rules.

Illness or emergencies

Please contact me as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may be waived at my discretion. This does not limit any refund or other right you have under consumer law.

If I cancel

If I cancel and we do not agree a replacement appointment, any advance payment for the unsupplied service will be refunded. This does not limit your other statutory rights.

Your statutory cancellation rights

These appointment terms do not replace your legal rights. If a booking made by WhatsApp or telephone is a distance contract covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason.

To exercise that right, tell me clearly that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period expires. WhatsApp is welcome; you can also use hi@adriaestheticsandbeauty.co.uk, telephone or the postal details on the legal disclosure page. You may use the optional cancellation wording on that page, but it is not compulsory.

If you expressly request a service to start during that 14-day period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service actually supplied before you cancel, provided the required information and request were given. Simply selecting an appointment within 14 days does not waive your rights. The right to cancel is lost after full performance only where you expressly requested the early start and acknowledged that consequence.

When you validly exercise a statutory cancellation right, the late-cancellation and no-show charges above do not override it. Payments must be refunded within 14 days of notification, less only any lawful proportionate charge for work already supplied. Refunds use the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
