Glow Facial
£50A hydrating facial for skin that feels dry or looks a little dull. A lovely option when you would like a fresher-looking complexion, including in the lead-up to an event.
May suit: Dry or dehydrated-feeling skin, or a dull-looking complexion.
Is this a good facial before an event?
It can be a good option for a hydrated, refreshed look. Let me know the date in advance so we can plan around your skin’s sensitivity and previous experience of facials.
Preparation and suitability
Tell me about allergies, recent reactions, active irritation and any treatment you have had recently. This helps me choose an appropriate facial approach.
Recovery and risks
Temporary redness or a product reaction is possible, especially with sensitive skin. I’ll explain suitable aftercare and help you plan around an event.
Carboxytherapy
£50A needle-free facial using a carbon dioxide gel and activator mask. An option to consider when you would like a facial focused on a fresher-looking complexion.
May suit: Those considering a topical facial for dull-looking skin.
Preparation and suitability
Tell me about product allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding and recent treatments. I’ll check the topical products and your skin before proceeding.
Recovery and risks
The treatment does not use needles. Temporary redness, tingling or a reaction to a product may still occur. Let me know about sensitive skin and follow the aftercare we discuss.
Exfoliating & Cleanse Facial
£50A cleansing and exfoliating facial for skin that feels congested, rough or in need of a refresh.
May suit: Congested-feeling or rough skin. This is not a medical acne treatment.
Is this suitable for acne?
It may suit some congested skin, but it is not a medical acne treatment. Inflamed, broken or infected skin needs assessment before exfoliation.
Should I mention my exfoliating products?
Yes. Tell me about acids, retinoids and recent peels or skin procedures so we can avoid over-exfoliating your skin.
Preparation and suitability
Tell me about active acne, broken skin, sensitivity and your use of retinoids or exfoliating acids. Exfoliation may need to be avoided or postponed.
Recovery and risks
Sensitivity or temporary redness is possible. Discuss how the treatment fits around other exfoliating products or recent skin procedures.
Microdermabrasion
£40Surface exfoliation for a smoother-feeling, brighter-looking complexion. Microdermabrasion removes dead skin cells from the outermost layer of your skin.
May suit: Dullness, surface texture and rough-feeling skin.
How often can I have it?
The interval should be agreed after assessing your skin and its recovery, rather than using one timetable for everyone.
Preparation and suitability
Tell me about active irritation, cold sores, recent procedures and medicines or products that affect skin sensitivity. Some skin conditions make exfoliation unsuitable.
Recovery and risks
Temporary redness, sensitivity or mild swelling can occur. Your skin may be more sensitive to the sun after exfoliation.
What about aftercare?
Be gentle with your skin and protect it from the sun while it recovers. I’ll explain when to restart active skincare and makeup for your treatment. Do not pick or scrub peeling skin.
Chemical Peel
£35A targeted exfoliating treatment that can improve the appearance of dullness, uneven tone and texture.
May suit: Dullness, uneven-looking tone and surface texture, subject to assessment.
Will I see visible peeling?
Not necessarily. The amount of visible peeling varies, and more peeling does not automatically mean a better result.
How do I prepare my skin?
Share your skincare routine and any medicines, especially retinoids or exfoliating products. I’ll give preparation advice for the selected peel; do not stop prescribed treatment without advice from your prescriber.
Preparation and suitability
Tell me about recent sun exposure, skin irritation, cold sores, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding and previous reactions. Suitability depends on the peel and your skin.
Recovery and risks
Redness, dryness or peeling may occur. Recovery varies with the peel; risks can include pigment changes, infection or scarring. Follow the individual aftercare and sun-protection advice provided.
What about aftercare?
Be gentle with your skin and protect it from the sun while it recovers. I’ll explain when to restart active skincare and makeup for your treatment. Do not pick or scrub peeling skin.
Planning your facial
Tell me about your skincare, allergies, recent treatments and any irritation before your appointment. I’ll check suitability and explain preparation for the facial you choose.
I’ll explain aftercare for the products and treatment used, including when to return to your usual routine. Contact me if you have a concern rather than applying new products to irritated skin.
If you are preparing for an event, we’ll discuss timing individually. Free consultations are available if you would like advice before deciding.
Not sure which facial to choose?
Message me with the treatment you’re interested in and when you’d like to visit. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to help you choose.
